For sale is a vintage Realistic TRC-214 handheld CB radio walkie-talkie with DC adapter and two dummy batteries. This particular model radio was used in the Netflix hit Stranger Things. The Realistic TRC-214 Walkie Talkie is a 3-watt 3-channel CB radio introduced by RadioShack in 1985. The radio requires crystals to function. Since this is a three channel, it would require 6 crystals. One for transmit and one for receive on each frequency. I removed the back cover so you can see the inside. The crystals are visible in the last photo. One of them is red in case you dont know what they look like. This radio will come with three crystals so it will talk and receive on one channel, but only listen on the other. It was been powered up and did receive and transmit on the B channel, however, I am not a radio technician so I cant guarantee its 100% functional. I think its in very good condition as seen in the many photos above. It could be great for cosplay. It can be powered by 10 rechargeable AA batteries, or 8 alkaline AA batteries (using 2 the dummy batteries), or the DC adapter. It has a wrist strap, and the antenna seems to be in good shape. Hello This is a pair of Realistic TRC-214. Nostalgia in a giant walkie talkie. You may know these as the walkie talkies the kids use in Stranger Things. The items have wear and tear, there are little bends in the antenna, but they extend all the way out. There is some dirt in them I cleaned them as much as possible. There some tarnish in the battery connectors probably could be removed. Tested on channels A and B work clear tested about 1,000 feet. C I could not get a signal between them. ARCAM ALPHA 9CD HIFI CD PLAYER and CR 214 RC Remote Control and manual. Here we have an Arcam Alpha 9CD player made in the UK in good working order and in very fine condition cosmetically apart from a tiny speck of paint as shown in photo 5. A one previous owner unit. In near mint condition with only tiny signs of being used and light polishing signs. In good working order with all the front controls and switches working well. The display is full and bright with no dead pixels. The drawer mechanism is smooth and quick as it should be. It reads all good clean discs but tends to reject heavily marked discs but this is common for this model as I have used several others and they were the same. It sounds very fine and suits all types of music. It is not bright and hard as most CD players are and it is not warm and damped as many more modern models, its sound it is more neutral than most. It comes with the original CR 214 remote control which is in very fine condition and fully working. It comes with the original mains cable and the original owners manual. Quite rare to find all these with the unit. No original packing as the previous owner lost this but will be well packed for postage. Will be well packed for delivery. Please note l have upped the insurance and delivery to 20. If it is any less l will refund the difference.

I am leaving it on because I think it shows character and shows that these were used and loved hopefully by a rag tag group of kids fighting monsters, aliens, and robots in the 1980s.
