Um sicherzustellen, daß er klanglich weiter auf hohem Niveau spielt, wurden seine inneren Werte gründlich geprüft. Dies umfaßte u.a. die meßtechnische und akustische Untersuchung des Lautsprecherchassis ebenso wie die genaue Prüfung der Frequenzweiche (s. unten). Bitte sprechen Sie mich an, wenn Sie Fragen haben. Die Filzgleiter zum Schutz des Fußbodens und der Unterseite wurden erneuert: Bauweise Der Subwoofer verdankt seine akustische Qualität in erster Linie dem Bandpassprinzip. Anders als bei konventionellen Baßreflex-Konstruktionen wird der Übertragungsbereich des Tieftöners durch das Gehäuse nicht nur nach unten, sondern auch nach oben begrenzt. Der im Inneren angeordnete Tieftöner, mit zwei Schwingspulen für den rechten und linken Kanal, arbeitet auf zwei getrennte Kammern, deren vordere durch eine Baßreflexöffnung ventiliert ist. Die beiden Kammern sind auf unterschiedliche (Resonanz-) Frequenzen abgestimmt und geben so nur den Tieftonbereich bis ins unterste Register wieder. Diese Bauweise vereint die Vorzüge geschlossener Gehäuse mit dem Baßreflexprinzip: Straffe, kontrollierte aber dennoch tiefreichende Wiedergabe. Allerdings braucht auch der Bandpass eine zusätzliche Frequenzweiche, die u.a. störende Mitteltonanteile davon abhält, durch die Baßreflexöffnung nach außen zu gelangen. Ein Gitter im Baßreflexrohr verhindert das Einbringen von Gegenständen. Der Übertragungsbereich hängt von der Qualität der angeschlossenen Satelliten-Lautsprecher ab: Ein harmonisches Zusammenspiel ergibt z.B. sich mit den in einer parallelen Auktion angebotenen ASW-Kleinlautsprechern. Prüfung und Überarbeitung Die Rückwand wurde mit der gebotenen Sorgfalt ausgebaut. Das Gehäuse ist stabil konstruiert. Die hintere, geschlossene Kammer beherbegt den Tieftöner. Zur Vermeidung von Flatterechos und entsprechenden Resonanzen wurde ein Akustikvlies aus feinfaseriger Polyersterwatte an den Gehäusewänden befestigt. Die Verbindungskabel zwischen Tieftöner und Frequenzweiche mußten angemessen kräftigen Exemplaren weichen. Auch die ursprünglichen Flachstecker am Tieftöner (s. Markierung) wurden durch kontaktsichere Lötverbindungen ersetzt: Das Lautsprecherchassis und die Frequenzweichenbauteile sind in einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Frequenzweichenplatine mit ihren schweren Baßspulen ist an der Rückseite des Anschlußterminals solide verschraubt. Dessen Federklemmen sind elektrisch optimal mit der Platine verlötet (s. Markierung): Die im Signalweg des Tieftöners angeordneten Baßspulen sind mit Trafokernen ausgestattet und benötigen so für die erforderliche Induktivität vergleichsweise wenige Windungen. Die führt zu einem niedrigen Innenwiderstand der Spulen und erlaubt einen klangförderlich hohen Stromfluß zum Tieftöner. Zwecks mechanischer Stabilität sind die Spulen mit Kabelbindern auf der Platine fixiert. Auch die Kondensatoren, die als Hochpaßfilter für die angeschlossenen Satelliten dienen, weisen praktisch keine Abweichung vom Sollwert auf. Offensichtlich hat Magnat hochwertige und langzeitstabile Kondensatoren eingesetzt: Nach dem Zusammenbau hat der Subwoofer einen gründlichen Betriebstest erfolgreich absolviert. Bei pfleglicher Behandlung steht dem Hörgenuß mit dem Magnat 145 850 für viele weitere Jahre nichts im Wege. Aufstellung Ob Lautsprecher ihr klangliches Potential entfalten können, entscheidet die Aufstellung im Hörraum.
