The Bose, 301 is the most successful speaker ever produced by Bose. It produces amazing sound for such a small speaker. Sound is not only clear and rich, but the famous direct reflecting design fills any room with sound. The series IV of the 301 is one of the best sounding of the 301 models. Dollar for dollar, this speaker provides one of the best bangs for your buck when it comes to smaller bookshelf speakers. This pair is in mint condition. They came from a fine Vermont estate and were kept at the top of large bookshelves in a back room that was rarely used. In other words, these speakers basically been in clean, dry storage for 25 years. The grills are immaculate, the cabinets have zero dents or scratches, and the drivers are in perfect condition. The only thing you might see on them is a bit of dust. However, they have been thoroughly cleaned. Please see pics, you will receive exactly what is shown. Designed & manufactured by Iceni Audio Ltd. Here for sale is a beautifully designed & manufactured counterweight & shaft for the Rega RB250, RB251, RB300, RB301, RB303, RB330, RB600, RB700 & RB900 tonearms. The main body of the counterweight is CNC machined for accuracy from aluminium grade 6026, the shaft is CNC machined from stainless steel grade 304 & the weights are CNC machined from brass or stainless steel (please specify when ordering). Fitting could not be more straightforward, simply unscrew your existing stub axle or counterweight shaft & screw the new shaft in. You can gently tighten the shaft by inserting an allen key or small drill through the end of the shaft & turning in a clock wise direction. I design & manufacture these counterweights, the development of which, took many hours of experimentation & listening. The results are both visually & audibly impressive.
