Pioneer PL-500 Direct Drive Quartz, Automatic Turntable acquired from the family of the original owner. Tested, usable and working but it has a couple of small issues. Sometimes the buttons have to be pressed more than once to get a function to work. It does work and sounds great, its just that it hasnt been used in years. The speed is right on, but the strobe lamp is a little dim, I was able to see it in dim light as can be seen in photo #4. Auto/manual function works along with record size switch. 45 Rpm adapter is included. Cuing raises and lowers the tone arm as designed. Tone arm adjustments move freely and perform their functions. The dust cover has a couple of small cracks near the hinges. It also has scuffs and scratches/brush marks. Even with the flaws the dust cover is totally functional with the hinges holding it up when needed. Included is a working Saturn V cartridge. Thats the story with this turntable, working but could use some service to get it to 100%. As previously stated, this turntable is totally usable in spite of the mentioned imperfections.
