Up for sell is a rebuilt Quad esl lower treble panel in black color. This panel had been cleaned thoroughly before mounting with Dupont 5 micron Mylar. The glue I used is NOT the regular Epoxy, it is a special glue that takes 3 days to be on cure time. So it is much stronger then the regular Epoxy. Same glue applied on stators between the frame. Mylar tension and coating resistance is properly applied. Please see photo of the works I done. Sound test is normal having the signature sound of Quad ESL. Please note this sale is for U. S. For sale a lovely pair of Quad ESL63 Electrostatic Speakers with black tops and consecutive serial numbers [033661 and 033662]. These have been disassembled and all panels inspected for loose stators, defective Mylar on the panels and repaired where needed. New grille clothes have been fitted and they have been tested for 48hrs continuous playing. Importantly there is no crackling, fizzing or popping noises at zero volume. Not much more to say about these, they are a stunning pair of ESL63s in immaculate condition. Yes you can buy cheaper, but would those have had a complete refurb and if a panel fails then you are looking at £100s to correct that. Quad ESL63 panels... 6 treble and 4 bass panels for refurbishment....

These Mullard EL34 tubes were removed from a Dynaco ST70 stereo amplifier. They are all Xf1 tubes and feature a fat base and double-O getters. The date codes are B1E4, B1E3 (2), and B1F4. All are in great physical except for the B1F4, as the plate on the tube appears to have gotten got (see picture). Cooincidently, that is the tube that tests the highest for both iP and Gm. Gm (mA/V) has a minimum of 7.7, and NOS typically reads 11.00. These tubes measured at 11.39, 11.22, 11,78, and 11.55. Plate current (iP) measured at 92.6, 95.8, 110.3, and 101.8mA. TESTING: The tube(s) in this sale have been tested on an Amplitrex AT-1000 tube tester, which is a laboratory-grade tester capable of supplying the user with precision measurements. It tests for heater-cathode leakage, gas, mutual conductance, and plate current. The AT-1000 is also used to screen for unwanted noise and microphonics, which is something very few eBay sellers do! Please note that no tube testers are identical and my test results will likely differ slightly from yours. Up for sell is a pair of Quad ESL63 electrostatic speaker in good working condition. All 8 panels rebuilt with Dupont 5 micron mylar. Fresh epoxy glue added to panel stators. New dust covers. The fabric covers are clean and in good condition. The electronic section is clean and all parts are in good order. Electrostatic power measured at about 4.8K with fully loaded. The wood top has minor hair line scratches. I have conducted sound test and the sound quality is normal. Please note this sell is for a pair of Quad ESL63 speaker only. No power cable. No stands. The tension gauge, the ohm meter and The eht meter in the picture are NOT included. (if you like the EHT meter, I can sell it to you in a separate eBay transaction). All the items on the background are NOT included.
