Hi, this item is in good condition and working perfectly. few minor marks scratches from normal second hand use but nothing major. Most notable scratches are on the bottom of the speakers where they have been standing fromuse, however only cosmetic and cannot be seen when speakers are stood up normally. Rest of the speaker case is in ok condition with the odd scuff / mark but nothing serious. Come with the speakers wall mounts. Solid cast baskets and Kevlar cones have been used. The Crossover components were also improved. They weigh substantially for a small speaker confirming build quality. Quad 77-11L Bookshelf SpeakerBirds Eye Maple 100% genuine unboxed speaker in used condition. Item description: A beautiful and well cared for example of these speakers. Youd be hard pushed to find better. Never been driven too hard and absolutely no problems what-so-ever. I have each speaker currently wired with a home-made jumper cable, (I think QED silver anniversary, or similar). But they can be used wired, or bi-wired or these replaced with a bridge. I originally had them paired with a NAD amp, but had them briefly bi-wired with two Rotel Mono amps to great effect. Because of their double port at the rear and all-round great quality components they really do pack a punch and won many awards for both design, build and sound quality, several years running for reasonably priced bookshelf speakers. I really enjoyed them but they have been stored away for many years. I am currently having a clear out of many of my unused or surplus electronics and Hi-Fi equipment. Replacement pads to bottom of the speakers. They can certainly be tested if needed as my current speakers can be easily switched over. Quad 77-11L Speakers - High Gloss Maple Finish. Full working order, these are great sounding speakers. Beautifully built with an excellent high gloss finish. Cabinets are in very good condition with just a few small marks. One speaker has a small chip to the veneer on the back left hand side and the other a small crack in the veneer on the top right hand side. Quad S2 Speakers - excellent condition piano black. Purchased 7/02/23 from a reputable Quad Hifi store. The above photos are the best I could do as regards the reflection’s from the high gloss black finish. The speakers are only for sale because I have just purchased some more speakers so need to make some space in my small listening room. My room is 3.2 metres wide and 4 metres long, Quad speakers positioned across the 3.2 metre wall 60cm from tweeter to back wall about the same to side walls pointing straight ahead, sitting approximately the same distance from the speakers as they are apart.You get a 3D wall of sound that pulls you in to the music regardless has to whatever you are playing. Plus you will be pleasantly pleased with the bass from these small speakers. Will also be listing the stands I used with the speakers. In my humble opinion and some YouTube reviewers they are amazing speakers for the price. Happy to demonstrate, collection preferred but willing to post. UK bidders only please.
