We have this preowned Quad 66 Stereo Pre-Amplifier in grey. The unit is in very good condition with some very minor cosmetic marks and scratches which can be seen in the pictures attached:- some minor scuffing around the top left and right corners of the units back face (see pictures 4 and 5)- two very small chips on the units left face (see picture 7)- some scuffing underneath the display on the units front face (see picture 9; please note that this mark is not visible during normal use). I think the Quad 66 is the most adaptable useful & of course brilliant sounding Quad Pre Amplifier. I had this particular Quad 66 serviced by Quad in January 2023. (Photo Number 4 shows the Quad 66 in its Quad packing. I will re-pack before dispatch). Please also see receipt - last photo. I have only just unpacked it & checked it over. Hence it is just like new. (When an item has been back to Quad, they return the performance of that item to the same as it was when manufactured). Quad Serial Number 202908 I know the remote is a bit of a monster but at least it is less likely to get lost!! A UK power lead will also accompany this Quad 66 (not in photos but it will be there). Generally the Quad 66 Pre Amplifier is partnered with the 606 Power Amp, 707 or 909 but it is not limited to those Power Amps. Will be well packed for transit. Quad 66 Pre-Amplifier - MC inputs - Serviced with Remote Control. This was my long term pre-amp on my personal system until recently. Serviced by IAG (Quad) in 2022. Absolutely superb pre-amplifier from the late 90’s with a great spec and sufficient inputs for all of your devices. I loved this set up for its faithful and neutral reproduction of all sources and of course, it’s most impressive remote control! Great amplifier, in top condition with audiophile provenance and ready to perform superbly for you. I will include a set of moving magnet phono cards with the item. Just be aware that changing the cards is quite fiddly - more so than earlier models. If you ask me nicely, I may swap them over for you if you require the MM boards for your cartridge.
