QUAD 33 Pre Amplifier Spare Parts 3 Amp PCB’s Rebuilt! This mismatched set were in a shocking state when I looked closely.Someone had attempted to reflow some joints and pads had lifted.I rebuilt them using new capacitors and transistors throughout, Nichicon FW elcos and quality polyfilm ones, all to QUAD specification, no mods!Took me half a day but now they look ok and work perfectly!Selling them cheaper than cosmetically better ones, there is over £20 of new components here!! From my personal collection of used tested and working parts, I have too many and not enough time to use them before my eyes give up close work! All parts have been taken from complete working units. Hoping these bits and bobs will help you get your 33 up and running again.Be aware though that there will be security markings on some parts due to a few unpleasant experiences in the past. There may be some slight damage to the wiring from the desoldering operation but nothing that cannot be easily repaired as you fit them. QUAD 33 Pre Amplifier Spares QUAD 33 Pre Amp Spare Parts Case (fits FM3 too) In great but not absolutely condition, a few small scratches scuffs and shiny marks but no sheet metal damage.Slight paint mottling to top front edge but from a short distance this looks lovely, very hard to describe accurately.This is the interim issue with the hardboard anti-drum sheet under the top.Hopefully the photos show its condition.One of the better ones I have sold. Quad 33 Pre amplifeir Control Units I am selleing these 3 x Quad 33 Pre Amp Units. - Vintage Hi Fi components which have sat unused in a cupboard for many years…. All 3 units power on - the bottom unit has some buttons missing. I have not tested these fully so am am selling them for parts or for futher servicing. In overall great conditon with some minor cosmetic marks - will benefit from a good clean! All 3 units have the tape adaptor and Disc Adaptor cards inside. For auction we have a Quad 33 in very good condition, please see pics. There is an internal label dated 5 Nov 09 from the IAG/QUAD service department. It looks like all the internal boards have been replaced except for the disc and tape pcb’s The power supply capacitors have now also been replaced. I would normally strip and do a Da Da upgrade but have left it alone with the quad service, still sounds great. I am a retired Calibration Engineer that has got bored so started to buy broken Quad equipment to repair and keep me, nearly, sane. This is UK only. I am more than happy to take cash on collection but will be packed very well if required.

A fine old quad 33 Preamplifier with built in moving magnet phono stage. This is working producing a good clean sound through all inputs. All the front controls work quietly and with smooth action. No loud pops when you switch on as is common on this unit. The front illuminated sign comes on sometime and sometime it does not. The back is fine with no cracks to the rear panel. All the slide in boards are present. Comes with a mains lead and an DIN interconnect cable to attach to the partner Quad 303 power amplifier. This is not the standard Quad cable but a Monster cable upgrade but the DIN plugs on this cable are not as secure as the factory originals so make sure you push them in fully. The tape replay DIN socket has been pressed in too far but is still attached to the rear panel. In average cosmetic condition with rub marks on the volume knob and light rubs the case but no heavy scratches or dent to the case.
