A fine old quad 33 Preamplifier with built in moving magnet phono stage. This is working producing a good clean sound through all inputs. All the front controls work quietly and with smooth action. No loud pops when you switch on as is common on this unit. The front illuminated sign comes on sometime and sometime it does not. The back is fine with no cracks to the rear panel. All the slide in boards are present. Comes with a mains lead and an DIN interconnect cable to attach to the partner Quad 303 power amplifier. This is not the standard Quad cable but a Monster cable upgrade but the DIN plugs on this cable are not as secure as the factory originals so make sure you push them in fully. The tape replay DIN socket has been pressed in too far but is still attached to the rear panel. In average cosmetic condition with rub marks on the volume knob and light rubs the case but no heavy scratches or dent to the case.
