Global Invacom FibreIRS Quad GTU Termination - Fibre Optic F101608.GLOBAL INVACOM IRS QUAD OPTICAL FIBRE GTUThe FibreIRS Quad Gateway Termination Unit (GTU) is designed to convert the optically received signals, from a fibre passive optical network (PON), to 4 universal satellite coax outputs and one DTT/DAB Coax output. Replicating a quad LNB the GTU is designed to allow the end user to feed 4 standard STBs or 2 PVR STBs.The Fibre IRS system is designed to run alongside a voice and data optical network, either on its own dedicated fibre, or as an RF overlay. The system is designed to distribude DAB, DTT and the complete Satellite content from a single Headend to a large number of dwellings.The Headend is comprised of modules that receive and combine terrestrial and satellite signals to an optical output.
