For your consideration is a fantastic Denafrips Ares II R2R DAC, running the desirable v1.8 FPGA firmware update (which vastly improves the detail, timbre, and imaging abilities of the DAC…tons of info online about this recommended update…the unit can be reverted to it’s factory firmware version if you so desire). I am the second owner, where this was used in an audiophile setup free from children, pets, smoke, or other electronic dangers…it was lovingly enjoyed and cared for over the past 1.5 years.
