Hooked this up and tested it as a 2 channel preamplifier. Boy was it quiet, with a warm wonderful sound! It would be hard to find another preamp at the price being asked that sounds this good. It lacks currently A/V features, no HDMI or Component inputs (Composite & S only). Does have 1 Optical in and several digital RCA inputs. Comes with remote/AC & original shipping carton. Does need to be set up for the various inputs that you will be using. One of the best sounding pre processors ever. It sounds as good as a top rated 2 channel pre amp in stereo. that alone is reason to grab one of these at the prices they are going for. I own this and also a meridian 568.2Its hard to compare the two, I consider both of these units to be the best of the best. AVP2 seems to have a fuller Bass while the Meridian a slightly more detailed high, again its tricky comparing these two, both give me chills. Audio Review
