I am a recording engineer with a studio in the Twin Cities.  We use the classic ProAc Studio 100's which have been used on thousands of recordings since the 90's for our studio monitors.  They are very rare and expensive, so I thought I would give their predecessors a try, which are these ProAc Studio 1's.  My findings are: The cabinets for the Studio 100's & Studio 1's are exactly the same, no difference except tweeters are offset on the 100’s.  The woofers are pretty much the same also.  The big difference is in the crossovers and tweeters.  The tweeters in the Studio 100's use a fabric tweeter very pleasing, the studio 1's use a metal titanium tweeter, much too harsh for my taste.  The crossovers are very different also, besides the obvious fact you can bi-amp the 100's, the 1'syou cannot, also the crossover points are very different.  So I purchased the replacement tweeters from Seas (see picture) for the Studio 100's and added a tweeter volume knob on the backs (see picture).  I replaced the ProAc crossovers with the Eminence PXB crossovers ($80.00 each see picture) , they have the closest specs to the Studio 100 crossovers of any I could find. The result is the speakers sound unbelievable, not exactly like the 100's but very close at a fraction of the cost.  I am including the original tweeters and crossovers all in working condition for this price.  One of the speakers I did route out around the tweeter to fit the new tweeter.  But the old tweeters will fit right in as usual same mounting screws. The grills are in excellent shape.  Cherry veneer.

Proac Response 1 SC One SC 1Sc Bookshelf Speakers. Some of the finest bookshelf speakers money can buy! Great tone with very realistic portrayal of acoustic instruments and vocals. Very nice wood veneer with just a few imperfections (see photos). Comes with original box and manual. Please note that there is a slight stickiness to the tweeter surrounds if touched, and some of the material will rub off if rubbed firmly. This does not affect the performance and the surrounds can be replaced but I understand it is a fiddly job and that the replacement surrounds would not have the proac logo, so I have left them alone. I will include some tellerium q blue jumper cables if you like. Please let me know via message.

Good used condition. I had a few people ask questions related to the screws and if they had been removed/replaced so I took a bunch of photos and sent them to ProAC, they were super helpful and confirmed that the screws look original. I also took out the tweeter and driver sent photos of those and the interior foam, ProAC also said they look original too. I can send you the email thread with them if you want.
