This is an opened boxed unused item so it is effectively new. Opened box as I wanted to check that it wasnt damaged in any way. What struck me about the DAC Box S2+ is how beautifully made it is. Its like a piece of jewellery or a luxury watch. The icing on the cake is that its made in Europe. This is a highly specified and versatile 32 bit ESS Sabre ESS9038 DAC which is well future proofed with DSD256 support. Probably way more than I ever need given my music collection! Welcome to my listing for my Pro-Ject USB Box S DAC. This lovely little unit is exceptionally well built and sounds absolutely superb as USB DAC upgrade for your computer or mobile device. The sound quality from this compact unit is weighty and refined with lots of midrange detail and great extension at both ends of the frequency spectrum. This DAC competes with other units many times its price. Pro-Ject know what they are doing with audio and you will get a significant upgrade to your audio quality for very little money.
