Auf dem sehr guten Tonarm aus Kohlefaser ist ein Goldring 2200 montiert, der ert ca. 80-90 Stunden gelaufen ist. Zum Lieferumfang gehören der Plattenspieler wie abgebildet, zwei Antriebsriemen, der separate Motor, das Plattengewicht und die passende Acrylhaube. Das externe Netzteil ist natürlich auch dabei. Time has come to sell on my much admired Pro-Ject 1Xpression Mk2 turntable, to part-finance an upgrade to an X1 or X2. Purchased new from AudioT here in Cardiff, this is my first decent turntable...! In excellent condition throughout, with no blemishes worth mentioning, apart from the almost inevitable and commonplace nick in plinth paintwork (see photo) from the cover ‘crashing’ down whilst re-adjusting the hinges, despite my best efforts over time to ensure this wouldn’t happen to me - could be touched up with matt grey hobby paint, or covered with small, self adhesive cushion pads...!? Used only by myself and sparingly, so no wear & tear or breakages to be concerned with - the plastic lid will have the usual light swirl marks from dusting and wiping clean. Fitted with its original Ortofon cartridge, which has seen little use, having been swapped out for an Ortofon 2M Bronze and has the heavier counterweight to accommodate the additional weight of this series of cartridges.
