Selling my beloved vintage Denon PRA-1000 preamplifier. It is in excellent condition. It was serviced by a professional technician who replaced the volume pot about 5 years ago, and has be recapped and the phono opamps have been upgraded to Burr-Brown SoundPlus, resulting in an incredibly low noise floor when playing vinyl. The power cable has also been upgraded to a high quality cord for improved EMI rejection. The only flaw is that one of the channels will sometimes get scratchy if you havent used it in a while and you have to turn one of the knobs back and forth to remove the slight corrosion on the contacts. A blast of DeOxit should clear this up. Im also selling a matching Denon POA-1500 amplifier. (I will also consider selling my excellent matching Denon DCD-1500II CD player if you want a set) Shipping will be either UPS or Fedex; buyers choice. Local pickup is available for those in the DC-Baltimore metro area.
