I noticed this while testing it as I did not have the remote. I fixed that issue by simply unplugging it and plugging it back in. It turned on right away after that. The subwoofer pairs without issue. if the shipping cost is too much send me a message and I can quote you on shipping it in two smaller packages instead of one big one where the sub and soundbar are in one package. I have the wireless dongle that goes with this for the rear speakers but I was unable to get the speakers to pair. I am unsure if the dongle, or the rear speakers are bad, as I have heard from others that the rear speakers cut in and out at times.
