This subwoofer is in very good to excellent cosmetic condition but is being sold for parts or repair. There seems to be a problem with the amplifier section. It powers up and plays nicely at times, but at other times the sound is distorted. When it plays properly, the sound is amazing, but getting it to play well consistently is a challenge. I am selling strictly for parts or repair. I recently sold another like this which had a similar issue. This is the better of the two. The previous buyer bypassed the amplifier to use it as a passive subwoofer and had great results. If you have a standalone subwoofer amp, this is a great buy. Removing the amplifier plate is very easy. You do not have to cut any wires whatsoever. All you have to do is connect speaker wires to the positive and negative terminals, then run those to your subwoofer amp.
