Polk Audio - Monitor XT60 Tower Speaker - Midnight Black [Monitor XT60]. Item has been tested and it’s fully functional.

These are Polk Audio midbass drivers from a Monitor 11, part number MW6600X. I have 3 available. Other than the Monitor 11, I believe these drivers were used in some early SDAs, perhaps the first generation SDA 1 and/or 2. Im not 100% positive, and someone on the Polk Audio Vintage Speaker forum may have more accurate info. As always, though, check whats actually supposed to be in your speakers before buying replacements or spares. All three, as shown in the photos, are in the same condition physically and measure within a typical tolerance for these drivers. I have included the basic measurements that were taken. Their condition is generally good, with no rips or tears in the cones or surrounds. All 3 driver work just fine. I have applied a careful, smooth bead of metal epoxy on both sides of the magnet to avoid the dreaded magnet shift and subsequent frozen driver that these older Polk units so often suffer in shipping when taking bumps. You can see this in the two photos of the magnet. I am offering free shipping on these. Its easiest for someone who buys multiples and I can then figure out the best sized box to put them in without the complications of figuring out accurate shipping rates for the buyer.
