This speaker can be used in either mono or stereo mode. The Atrium 8 will fill a very sizable outdoor space to the point of neighbor annoyance, if you should so choose. I managed to scratch the bottom of it while getting the hang of how to mount it on the bracket. I doubt anybody would ever notice.
