It is complete with its original box including the internal polystyrene packaging. I will be shipping the amplifier directly in this box. It is also fitted with a great sounding phono stage that I have used with several vintage DD decks and they all sound sweet. I have no reason to think that there is a problem with any of the digital inputs (2x SPDIF and a coaxial) but I’ve never used them as I run all my digital inputs through a separate Schiit DAC and then output via an RCA cable into this amp. These units were reported (lots of user testimonials out there on Google) to have a hum when using Optical input, but as I use a separate DAC anyway I can’t comment on this issue. I was aware of this possible problem at point of original purchase but use of a separate DAC insulated me from any issue. If you are looking for an amp solely to use for SPDIF inputs and do not intend to use a separate DAC, then buyer beware, as I cannot guarantee the SPDIF inputs on this unit will not have the same issue as reported elsewhere.
