For your consideration is a Pioneer SX-770 AM/FM FET Stereo Receiver. I just finished cleaning, repairing, and servicing this receiver and it sounds and works great. It cleaned up quite nice too. After fully testing and using it in my den for over a week, this receiver is working 100% and ready for a new owner. Following is a summary of what was done to this receiver. - Removed knobs, faceplate, wood case and bottom cover to facilitate cleaning, repair, and service. - Blew dust and dirt out of receiver with compressed air. Amplifier Board - Repaired a right channel issue by replacing 3 faulty resistors (22, 220, & 270ohm), 2 driver transistors (1 was bad and I replaced the other for good measure) and the bias transistor. - While the amp board was accessible I replaced the electrolytic capacitors including the 1000uf output caps. - Replaced the idle bias adjustment potentiometers as the original porcelain pots are prone to failure. - Upon powering up the receiver I adjusted the center voltage and set the idle bias to 20mv on both channels. Tone Control/Pre-amp Board - Replaced all electrolytic capacitors. - Replaced 2) 2SC870 transistors. - Cleaned and lubricated bass and treble pots. Switch Boards - Removed both switch boards from chassis and cleaned and lubricated switches. Power Supply - Replaced 2 marginal electrolytic capacitors. - Replaced both 2SC497 transistors with beefier KSC2690Ys. - Verified power supply outputs. Other - Replaced dial lamps with warm white LEDs. All other lamps working fine. - Cleaned and lubricated volume, balance, and function selector. - Checked all circuit boards for potential issues. Cleaned up a couple solder connections, otherwise all looked fine. - Lubricated AM/FM tuning mechanism. - Cleaned rear panel RCA connectors with DeoxIt. - Tested all inputs, outputs, and functions and this receiver is working as it should. - Used receiver for several days in my den and no issues were noted and it sounds and works excellent. Cosmetically this SX-770 cleaned up quite nice. I made a few minor repairs to the wood case, went over the finish with steel wool and applied a fresh coat of dark walnut stain. The case isnt perfect but is much nicer than it was. Please note that the lower bottom left of the wood case, toward the rear, has a section where the veneer is missing. The faceplate and knobs are in very good condition with only minor blemishes. Please view the pictures closely as they are part of the description and are of the item you will receive. (When I initially viewed the pictures I thought the knobs were still dirty, but its reflection from the white lettering, the knobs are clean). Pioneer SX-7730 Stereo Receiver Vintage Sehr Selten (Black Model). Sehr guter zustand. Ich habe diese Receiver/Verstärker selber in der 70er neu gekauft. Receiver ist 4 Jahren in betrieb gewesen und dann nach mein Militär zeit im Keller aufbewahrt bis jetzt aber immer noch voll Funktion fähig. . Ich bin einzige Besitzer. Persönlich Abholung ist mir lieber aber über Versand innerhalb Deutschland können wir reden.
