Good condition for its 50 year old age. Facia is good with just a few scratches as is the rear and bottom. Lid has some bad marks as per the photos. The clear door cover flaps catch was broken so that has been repaired- but it’s hard to spot the repair on its RHS. (this holds the flap up and released from the door button on the front as normal) It’s had: New belts and a worn pinch roller replaced. Mechanical bits cleaned and lubricated. (The rewind function gets easily gummed up on these) Head cleaned and demagnetised. Pots cleaned and tape speed checked/adjusted. Auto stop mechanism setup and working well. (One of the first decks to have it I believe) Tested ; play back, FF/REW, record, MIC inputs, headphone jack, record protect mechanical lever (these can stick open/inhibit record) and full auto stop all functioning. (Not tested the DIN socket on the rear) It still has the original filament bulbs for the tape window and VU meters - so unknown how long these will last, but they look relatively easy to change. (& Dolby light) Rare, heavy, old and unusual machine. Dispatched via Evri.
