Up for sale is a properly working and clean Pioneer Spec 1 solid state preamp. It came to us in basic working order but we started by giving it a cosmetic cleaning and sprayed the pots and switches with Caig Labs de-Oxit. It works fine on all inputs on our Sound Technology Test Panel and played music through it for several hours without any signs of problems. Not restored but cleaned and tested very carefully. We consider it plug and play as it sits. Note that this is just a preamp and by design does not directly drive speakers despite their being speaker outputs! You have the option of running your power amp through a separate speaker switching box/headphone link thats separate from the preamp circuity. The headphone jack (by design) will not function unless you use this feature. A clesn copy (not original) of the owners manual is included. If shipped it will be very well packed and we promise it will arrive working and exactly as described. No long term guarantee beyond that.
