Stock Bluray players are limited to either USA (region A), Europe (region B) or Asia (region C). The devices offered in our markets are unable to play the discs from overseas - but this BDP-450 can! Das absolute Schmankerl an diesem Player kommt aber erst noch: Ich habe einen Mod implementieren lassen, der ihn REGIONFREE macht! Er kann durch eine simple Einstellung im Men nun Blurays und DVDs smtlicher Regionen abspielen, also neben Region B (Europa) auch Region A (USA) und Region C (Asien). Jeder, der von der Zensur in Europa genervt ist, kann jetzt endlich die UNCUT-Originale abspielen - fr mich ein unbezahlbares Feature! Und zuletzt der Tipp fr Kenner: das Gert spielt sich SACD-R-Medien ab, also selbst gebrannte Abbilder von SACDs...es gibt nur eine Handvoll Player die das knnen, und aus allen spteren Modellen wurde die Funktion gnzlich entfernt.
