******US Bidders Only****** Up for auction, is a pair of used but in good condition, the 2016 CES Award Winning Pioneers Andrew Jones SP-EBS73-LR Bookshelf speaker system for Dolby Atmos Home Theater or Two-Channel Playback setup (bookshelf speakers have an up-firing Dolby Atoms enabled speaker on top). These Pioneer Elite Dolby Atmos bookshelf speakers are truly Elite, because they feature a Point Source design style that utilizes concentric drivers and metal cone material (except the tweeters) in their construction. That will provide a 2.0.2 high-end home theater experience as well as an excellent two-channel playback setup, with Atmos for a nice Spatial Audio listening experience. Not only will you have an awesome vocal presentation, but youll also have a heighten front sound stage that will give you the perception of sounds emanating from above. Oddly enough, the bookshelfs sound much better than the tower versions - go figure...! Who is Andrew Jones...? And why hes one of the Worlds leading speaker designers in the Audio Industry...? Andrew Jones has spent many years building and designing speakers in the Audio Industry. I would say in the last ten years or so, he has become somewhat of Celebrity of sorts. He got his start at KEF speakers, went on to spend time with Infinity, and then onto TAD a Subsidiary Company of Pioneer. While working for TAD/Pioneer he became legend by creating the monster TAD Monitor Reference One series of speakers that sold for $80,000 to $120,000 that speaker put him on the map. Because, the TAD Monitor Ones were so successful, Pioneer then taped him to come out with a more affordable line of speakers that everyday people could buy, without taking out a second mortgage on the house - hehehe...! Thus, the Pioneer Elite and the Pioneer Andrew Jones Signature Series of speakers were born, and things have never been the same since - hehehe...! Eventually, he left Pioneer to climb on aboard with ELAC (a German Speaker Company), to create a whole new line of speakers - they did quite well on the market as well. However, after five years with ELAC, he left to start a brand new-line of speakers for Mo-fi. Matter of fact, the Pioneer Elite and Pioneer Andrew Jones Signatures series of speakers are no more, and have been sold out Worldwide for many years now... Folks, like I aforementioned, the speakers are in good condition, maybe one or two light scratches on the side and a slight minor peel of the veneer on the top right side. But, these are excellent sounding speakers due to the fact theyre a Point Source design and features metal cone drivers (except the tweeters) for a sound signature thats high-end and neutral sounding. Well, you know what mean - nothing artificial... Im tell you this, if they had Beryllium Tweeters, these speakers would be on a whole other level...! But, after having checked out many of the current and other competing speaker brands on the market like: Arendal, Klipsch, Polk, Cambridge, Sony and Infinity, I have come to realization that none of those speakers are unable to outperform or sound better then Pioneer Elite speakers at this price point. Theyre just to dam good to pass up or look beyond...! But, technically speaking, ELAC is the only other speaker brand that sounds close or similar to the Pioneer Elties, minus the sex appeal - hehehe...! Im selling this awesome pair of speakers for those individuals who have not had an opportunity to experience these excellent sounding speakers in a two-channel playback setup. The designed style, engineering, crossover networks and materials that went into the construction of these speakers, just makes the Pioneer Elite Andrew Jones speakers hard to beat - really...! The sound stage is rock-solid, imagining is superb, with great stereo separation and good low-end extension (great bass response). When I originally set these speakers up to test and review. The overall sound and bass response was remarkable considering the woofer size is only 51/4 in diameter. Again, it goes back to the metal cone material and crossover network. The speakers are very formidable and will give any high-end speaker brand a run for the money. Due to its speaker design of being a point source, the highs and mids are timed aligned to give you an audiophile reference sound quality. The speakers sound very musical, you really have to hear them to get what Im talking about. Again, because of the concentric driver design of the tweeter and midrange in the same housing, the highs and mids are very balance, nuanced and time-aligned to provide a great sound presentation to good recordings. Guys, when youre running these in a two-channel format, the sound warps around you which gives you a good depth to the sound stage, only high-end speakers do that effectively with little effort...! And if you were to engage the Atmos enabled speakers into the mix, you have a great Spatial Audio listening experience that will have great height to your sound stage. All at an affordable price point (Im comparing it to the $80,000 TAD Monitor Ones), you cant beat - yeah its nuts...! Again, the Pioneer Elite speakers are in great condition I would say theyre 8.5 out of 10...!
