For sale is a Pioneer RT-1020L 10.5 inch 4 track Reel to Reel tape deck recorder. It is in gery gooe condition albeit with minor scuffs, marks as shown. Refer to pics. It has been tested, serviced, calibrated and the heads were cleaned and demagnetized for the best sound ever. It has a new drive belt installed a new pause lever , and new transistors. the tape counter is non functional due to a worn out wormgear, something I DO NOT attempt to repair. The mic inputs were tested and they work as well as the other inputs. The pots and switches were sprayed and the metal parts were lubed as well. Both channels are clear and superb sounding as well. All the functions work and the VU Meters jump like they are supposed to. The sound when recording at 3 3/4 IPS is very clear and better and wider sounding than the Source recording from, depending on the type of tape used and better at 7 1/2 IPS. You can use both 7 inch and 10 1/2 inch reels! The heads are also in very good shape which is obviously why the quality is awesome as well. Pictured reels and hubs are for testing, for demonstration purposes only and NOT INCLUDED! You may purchase the hub adapters for $85, an empty metal reel for $35, or a QUANTEGY 3600 FT metal reel of tape for $100!
