Pioneer PL-630 - excellent condition. Hard to find in this condition. Very clean with some signs of use. Dust cover has some scratches that can be buffed out. Works as expected including all automatic functions. Electronic speed control works as expected. All controls have been cleaned in the last year. It is common on this vintage model that occasional operation of the switches should be done routinely to ensure internal connections continue to operate as designed. The tonearm on this turntable is amongst the best i have heard for this class of tables. The PL-630 was among the best tables in this class and remain popular today, although they are becoming rare. Included are two headshells as shown. No cartridge is included but i have used a broad range of cartridges with great success: Denon DL-103R, Decca Gold, Shure M75 - all performed well on this table. Also included are two tonearm belts - this is one of the parts that needs to be replaced over time. The belt on this table was replaced early last year, so should have quite a few years of life remaining. The tonearm also has an extra auxiliary weight for use with heavier cartridges. Buyer to pay postage. The turntable is heavy and will be sufficiently packed for successful delivery. Local pickup is an option and preferred for local buyers to minimize and shipping risk. A Rare vintage Pioneer PL-630 Fully-Automatic Quartz Locked Direct-Drive Turntable produced 1978-79 with Shure M91 ED cartridge and original stylus with guard that looks good and sound great.This has had one careful owner from new and been in a cabinet all its life. I have sold many decks over the years and this one you really would find hard to find a better example.In very good cosmetic condition only some very very light marks to lid I have had this working this week in the office It sound fine and plays well most of the time, the auto works fine. But every so often the speed varies, but I have found if you press the quartz lock button a couple of times it cures it. So I presume it is a simple cleaning of the switch needed. (It is sold as is with this fault) and would recommend a service.I can send you a video of this switch solving the problem if eBay will allow.
