Pioneer PL-518 Direct Driver Automatic Return Turntable acquired from the family of the original owner. Cuing raises and lowers the tone arm. Tone arm adjustments move freely and perform their intended functions. Strobe is bright and accurate. Pitch controls change the speed as they should. Auto-return works perfectly. Although this turntable works and sounds great it has a couple of flaws. The feet have worn out and disappeared, so if desired a new set of feet can be purchased on ebay or from sites on the internet. The dust cover has a few small cracks which have no effect on operation. One thin crack is near a hinge, the other on top. The dustcover stays up and the cracks dont affect visibility. The dust cover also has the usual brush marks and scratches. The turntable has some type of quality Stanton cartridge and stylus which sounds terrific. Thats the story with this quality turntable. Working great, with a few small flaws that dont affect operation or sound quality. Powers on, the arm goes back and forth. It needs a new needle. The cover is a little cracked on the back. Its missing the pieces to hold it to the bottom. The cover also has some scratches. Comes as you see it in the photos. It has not been tested any further. However, it appears to be working. As is no returns.

Pioneer Pl-518 Direct Drive Automatic Return Turntable WORKS GREAT READ! SEE PICS! Turntable WORKS. Complete with metal 45 adaptor and dust jacket. Headshell comes with stylus/needle but I dont know how much life is left on it. Feet have some wear, but table stands up well on its own - no functional issues. Dustcover has heavy scuffing as well as CRACK in back but it still works great.

Good used condition with some signs of wear. Includes original dust cover, headshell, feet, and documentation. Turntable appears to be working well including the auto return feature. I am by no means an expert but all features appear to be working. Dust cover has scuffs and some rough spots but is not cracked like many dust covers from this time frame. Hinges on the dust cover work well and stay up when raised. Headshell is missing one screw holding the cartridge in place. Includes original manual, and info cards but manual shows signs of wear and tear (see pictures). Feel free to ask questions!

Our Standard Shipping method is our choice of USPS, FedEx or Motor Freight. Unfortunately, because we have very limited space, we cannot store your purchased items for you. For local pickup, we can hold your item for two weeks (or as agreed upon beforehand in writing) from the purchase date, after which we have to charge storage, up to $10 per day, depending on the situation. Once storage fees exceed any moneys paid, we will have to relist the item without refund.
