Good working order, no wow or flutter I can make out, FF and REW is good and strong on both decks, audio output is good. Full disclosure - I sold this deck recently and the buyer returned it saying it didnt sound crisp and clear which was the original wording of the listing. He also said it smelled of cigarettes - dont know where he got that idea, it doesnt and nobody in my home smokes. Because audio quality is very much a subjective thing and also dependent on the quality and condition of your other connected equipment I decided to make a video clip of the deck working for you to see and judge for yourself, and this can be found along with the photos for this listing. I make no statement on the quality of playback other than I think it sounds fine and you can judge for yourself from the video clip. Some may think it sounds good, others may think it needs a head clean. Use your ears and judge for yourself. In the clip I am using a pre recorded tape of The Time Frequency some early 90s rave which is in good condition. I am playing back through my Harman Kardon hk385i amp and JVC SK-41 speakers, and the video recording was made in the room on my phone, there is no trickery or post processing going on and Im happy to share the raw mp4 file on request. A few seconds after the music starts playing you will hear the audio quality dip in and out - this is me turning my amp balance fully left to right and back to centre to demonstrate it is playing back correctly through both channels.

PIONEER CT-W208R STEREO DOUBLE CASSETTE DECK Separates Audiophile Hifi Working. Tested this today after being in storage for quite a while. Played tapes on both decks perfectly, rewound and fast forwarded also. All light are working and all the buttons and knobs are working as they should. I have not tested the record function. Unit is in overall very good condition with some what I would describe as minor scratches and marks. Unfortunately it is missing the pioneer badge to the front.
