I have tested all the other slots and they play and record fine. There are some minor scratches on top of the case but the deck otherwise operates smoothly. Complete with remote control and brand new Duracell batteries. What an amazing bit of retro kit this is...you can place 6 cassette tapes in the front loader and press random play for hours of uninterrupted music!! It will randomly select a tape and play the first track, then select another tape and play its first track, and so on...when it selects a previously selected tape it simply plays the next track along. It will do this until all tracks on all 6 tapes have been played. This machine also records from another source onto cassette. Connection with an amp is via phono cables and these are included. Vintage Pioneer Multi-cassette Changer CT-M55R • Holds 6 Cassette Tapes Tested???? Fully cleaned by a professional at a computer workstation (ESD safe). Almost no dust inside the unit. Functions as intended. Just a superb piece. I deal with electronics all day every day and I've never seen something like this!! Will not disappoint!! Minor scratches to top of front plastic panel from moving components over the years but otherwise just a perfect, rare and surprising component. See photos. All are genuine. The volume know is missing, can be changed by turning inner post or be replaced. Also the caps for the counter Mode & Reset are missing their caps but function just fine. This will move fast!!
