Die Pickering-Tonabnehmer beruhen seit der Übernahme des Unternehmens durch Walter Stanton generell auf der gleichen Technik wie die Stanton-Modelle. Das hier angebotene System ist ein Moving Iron Design der frühen 1970er Jahre und gleicht der Stanton 600er Baureihe. Das V-15 Micro, später V-15 Phase IV, kam Anfang der 1970er auf den Markt und wurde mit verschiedensten Nadeleinschüben für Wechsler, Automatik- und manuelle Plattenspieler, sowie für Mono- und Schellackplatten angeboten. Unter dem Stanton-Label gab es zudem Varianten für den professionellen Einsatz. Anders als die bekannte V-15 MM-Baureihe sind die Phase IV-Systeme ein Moving Iron Design - wie die Pickering XV-15 Modelle. Deren Nadeleinschübe sind mechanisch kompatibel, aber aufgrund der abweichenden Spulenkonstruktion kann es mit diesen zu tonalen Abweichungen und Lautstärkeunterschieden kommen. Dem System liegen zwei Originalnadeln bei, eine elliptische D IV ATE für manuelle und automatische Plattenspieler und eine robuste elliptische D IV ACE für Plattenwechsler. Technische Daten: elliptische Diamanten, optimale Auflagekraft ATE 30 mN, optimale Auflagekraft ACE 50 mN. Ausgangsspannung 6,5 bzw. 8 mV, Kanaltrennung 28/26 dB, Induktivität 575 mH, Innenwiderstand 850 Ohm, ideale Abschlußkapazität 275 pF, Gewicht 5,0 Gramm ohne Vorlaufbürste. Die D IV ACE-Nadel habe ich als NOS-Ware gekauft, hatte bereits bei Erhalt eine kleine Delle im Nadelträger, Laufzeit unter 10 Stunden in einem Dual 1019, die D IV ATE-Nadel lief in einem alten Elac Miracord, Laufzeit unbekannt, spielt aber nach wie vor sauber, weist jedoch Oxidationsspuren am Nadelträger auf. Passende Montageschrauben und ein Nachbau-Vorlaufbesen sind dabei. Cooles System, perfekt für alte Wechsler der 1960er und 1970er. Weitere geprüfte und überholte Geräte in parallelen Angeboten. This is tested working. This has a Pickering TL-1 cartridge/stylus. The stylus is in good condition. This is used so there is some wear and scratches on the item. Check pictures above.

Condition is unknown. The leads look a bit oxidized, but by the looks of everything else, it looks as though it has never been used. Selling as is All parts pictured minus the grey mat will be included. No returns.

At auction today, a vintage Garrard head shell sled model C2 73347 with a PickeringV-15 / ACE-3 cartridge and working stylus ( age and stylus condition is unknown ) takenfrom a working Garrard SL-65 turntable. Sled will fit SL-72 , SL-95 and the 40B models as well. It may also fit others models, but please be sure before purchase.Great for replacement or that plug and play spare.Sled and cartridge will be super well packed and shipped within 4 days after payment has been received. Dad probably bought this turntable about 1967 if the number stamped underneath is a date code. It contains 67 which sounds about right. It was in our living rooms until 1986 or so. The motor still works and the belts are intact! Guess it was designed to survive anything. Remarkably, the foam in the shock mounts still appears to be good also. The oiled walnut chassis has a few minor dents but is free of scrapes or gouges. I did not test the audio: the wires from the cartridge to the terminal block underneath are enameled magnet wire (unshielded) which cant be original. They were run randomly which is exactly how Dad would have repaired it. Shouldnt there be shielded twisted pairs, at least, through the tone arm? I cut them for shipping so youll need to rewire the tone arm for sure now. I believe the Pickering cartridge to be original and I cannot believe the stylus is still good after all our (ab)use. Youll note that someone rebalanced the tone arm by gluing a penny in the cartridge holder sometime in or after 1973. ???? You can spin the platter backwards with the power off, and then turn it on to run it backwards. (Thats how I listened to the backwards message in ELOs Fire on High). I always wanted to work out the physics of why that worked: if its not spinning quite fast enough when you throw the switch it reverses to the correct clockwise direction. This turntable runs at both 33 & 45 RPM: you move the belt on the pulley underneath the platter to select speeds. The tone arm holder also remarkably survived although as you can see in the photos it has been repaired.NO plastic cover is included: it broke in the 70s as I recall.Theres also a pretty good layer of dust caked on this turntable now; there was an AR logo on the front which also fell off at some point.The bottom cover is intact but missing three its screws.Im including a foam record mat which is also NOT original. Thorens TD 147 Plattenspieler Turntable Holzzarge TP16 Isotrack Mark 3 Tonarm. Verkaufe hier diesen sehr hochwertigen und massiven Thorens TD 147. Schwere Holzzarge und sehr gute Verarbeitung. Verbaut ist der Typ 16 Isotrack Mark 3 Tonarm, welcher wirklich top ist. Technisch funktioniert alles wie es soll, auch die Endabschaltung. Optisch sieht die Zarge noch sehr gut aus, mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren, die Haube hat viele Kratzer und hinten am Scharnier einen Riss, welcher mit 2 Komponenten Kleber fest verklebt wurde somit sehr stabil. Insgesamt noch sehr wohnzimmertauglich... Ein sehr schnes Gert mit Tonabnehmer welcher noch nicht verbaut ist, ein Pickering XV-15 mit OVP gibt es dazu.
