This unit has been upgraded partially along the lines of the Phonosophie No 3 turntable, alterations made are1)complete removal of auto return and all its vibrating bits, so now fully manual. Lift drop lever is a little sensitive to use but I dont find this an issue2) Tone arm external wires redirected inside chassis to reduce number of joints3) feet replaced with ebony/ RDC cones (material used by Phonosophie for their turntables)Comes with basic ac power supply but can be upgraded to higher grade larger VA transformer say 200va which regulates in coming ac better, or If you want to go a step further easy to add regulated DC power supply and bypass the initial rectification stage. I think one or two of the capacitor on the board have been upgraded for better regulation but not 100% sure from memory. Bearing has been serviced and a brand new belt fitted. Cosmetically it has signs of wear and also removed was a slight arm that had a cleaning head on it that was situated on the left rear side and which was stuck down so has left a mark on the chassi where it was removed. But good overall condition. Price does not include postage but does include the Linn cartridge which is fully functional.A Very good sounding turntable. (I think the Phonosophie versions other additions was a slight change to grounding and a special counterweight for the tonearm which can still be bought from them). I believe i have a not so great condition perspex cover and hinges somewhere but these would be collection only if I can find themThese usually sell for between £700 and £1500 unmodified. This one has been priced accordingly, but IMO sounds better as a result of it!

Zum Verkauf steht ein gebrauchter Thorens Subteller/Innenteller ohne Achse. Dieser Subteller stammt von einem Thorens TD 2001 - Laufwerk. Der Teller ist problemlos einsetzbar, sobald eine Achse eingebaut wird. Für den Einbau einer Achse ist lediglich ein Heißluftgebläse erfoderlich. Nach dem Aufwärmen des Subtellers lässt sich eine Achse mauell problemlos einsetzen. Der baugleiche Subteller wurde in verschiedenen Laufwerken eingesetzt: TD2001, 520, 521, 320, Phonosophie No. 3 und so ist es mit dem klassischen Zamak-Hauptteller kombinierbar. Hergestellt in der 23. Woche 1989. Der Subteller ist für 7.15 mm und für 10mm-Achsen (88mm) geeignet. Passende 7.15 mm Original-Achsen für den Selbsteinbau kann ich auf Nachfrage ebenfalls anbieten. Gesamtdurchmesser: 16cm Gebrauchter Zustand mit sichtbaren Reinigungsspuren der Oberfläche.Der Subteller ist nicht beschädigt und nicht verformt. Typisch für Zamak ist die Oberfläche des Subtellers angelaufen, die sich beispielsweise mit der Metarex-Polierwatte bereinigen lässt. Hier wäre es empfohlen, einen Reinigungsvorgang auf einer Drehbank durchzuführen. Lieferumfang, wie abgebildet.
