This comes from a parts unit so Im not sure if it works but you can return it for free if you have any issues. This vintage Philips 212 turntable is a great addition to any collection. It may need some work to get it up and running smoothly, but its unique design and brand reputation make it a valuable piece. I purchased this along with 3 others at auction. I have plugged this unit in. Although it’s missing the power button, it does spin at 45 and 33 and stops when pressing the stop button. Lights don’t work. Not sure about anything else. Missing the needle as well. Dust cover has scratching, one spot severely , however, it doesn’t seem to be cracked anywhere. See pics for condition. For parts or restoration. I have shipping as Priority Mail. I can ship another way to save some money there but will need to know before purchase.

A RARE VINTAGE TURNTABLE MADE IN HOLLAND IN THE EARLY/MID 1970s. PHILLIPS MADE THEM FROM ABOUT 1971-76. VERY UNIQUE TURNTABLE WITH FLOATING PLATTER AND TONEARM, SOLIDLY BUILT ALUMINUM AND WOOD BASE, AND ADVANCED (FOR THAT TIME) FEATURES SUCH AS TOUCH-SELECTION OF SPEED. THESE ARENT PUSH BUTTONS, BUT ARE TRUE TOUCH-SENSORS. THIS UNIT NEEDS A COUPLE OF THINGS TO BE COMPLETE. IT NEEDS A BELT. I TESTED IT WITH A DONOR BELT FROM ANOTHER TT TO ENSURE TEH PLATTER SPINS. IT ALSO HAS NO CARTRIDGE/STYLUS. THIS MODEL USED A SLED DESIGN CART HOLDER. OTHER ISSUES THAT DO NOT IMPACT PLAYING: THE STOP TOUCH SWITCH BULB IS OUT, AND THE COVER HAS A CRACK BY THE HINGE (PENCIL POINTS IT OUT IN THE PHOTO). THE PICTURES ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. Phillips Automatic 212 turntable. Serviced. Excellent. New belt. Internal mechanisms completely cleaned and lubricated. New control sensor bulbs. Tone arm balanced, aligned and tracking force set. This is a very low-milage turntable with the original Audio Technica cartridge and stylus. The stylus was examined under a microscope and deemed to be in extremely good shape with no discernible wear. Output is strong and equal in both channels. The cover is in very good shape with no obvious cracks, scratches or scuffs. It holds speed perfectly. This is as good a stock 212 as you will find at below market price for a quick sale. This TT will be extremely well-packed. Thanks
