PHILIPS D6920 MK2 II STEREO PORTABLE CASSETTE TAPE PLAYER / RECORDER.- Partly Working This is a semi-professional cassette tape play/recorder that served me very well back in the 80s and 90s. It still plays cassette tapes fine, but fast forward and rewind dont work - you can hear the motor running, but the tape doesnt move at all. It may be that this can easily be fixed - I dont know. I also havent attempted to record on it. It comes with its removeable carrying handle so that it can be carried on a shoulder. Theres no microphone with it - the original one wasnt very good and I used a different one, but no longer have it. The machine will run on mains - lead included - or it will run off 6 C (or R14) batteries which are not included here. It is clean, though somewhat dusty, and has few signs of wear, mainly to the transparent window above the cassette, but these do not impact on its use. There are various inputs/outputs including two microphone jacks, headphone jack and 4 phono sockets. The machine could have had a remote control unit but I never bought that and so it is not included here. I hope someone can fix the problem(s) and give this machine a new lease of life - it deserves it!

Philips AZ1003 Portable Radio Boombox CD / Tape Player with Power Cable. In working order. CD, tape and radio all tested. Haven’t tested if the tape is able to record and haven’t used batteries in it. Casing has a few minor marks but nothing of particular note. It is missing two of the felt coasters on the underside. Has a clean battery compartment. Electrically tested on the 19 May 2023. See photos for more information. Kept in a smoke free home.
