This vintage pair of Polk Audio Monitor 7B speakers is equipped with Peerless soft dome tweeters, delivering smooth and detailed high-frequency sound.With a frequency response range of 25Hz to 25kHz and an impedance of 8 ohms, these speakers are said by some audiophiles to outperform speakers at double their price. Some updating of the electronic components, such as capacitors may enhance their audio precision, as values tend to drift over time. Here is a pair of the original Polk M4 from the 70s with the famous Peerless tweeters with fuse protection. The 6.5 mid woofers here are new 89 db spl 50 watts rms replacements as the originals glue dried and the magnets shifted locking them up. These are good sounding speakers again.

Parting out a “New” DLK 1 1/2 speaker with a damaged cabinet. This listing is for a Peerless 1” 4 ohm dome tweeter. Works and measures at 4.5 ohms. Dome has a couple slight indentations that don’t appear to affect performance. Made in USA. Offered AS IS. Please check the photos to judge condition. Shipping only in the lower 48 US states. This is a pair (listing contains TWO tweeters) of working and tested Peerless K010DT 8 Ohm tweeters. These were taken off from a Swedish speaker called Alfa speakers so they are likely Made in Sweden, probably made in the 70s or 80s. Please review all pictures for details; cosmetically they are not pretty but sonically sound as they should. Buyer may choose to paint the face plate (at their own risk). I do not know about their power handling capacity but they were paired with Philips woofers that had a 60 Watt power rating. These tweeters were used in any speaker brands; buyer is purchasing these at their own risk. Please ask questions before purchase. Buyer will get two tweeters as shown in the pictures. Will not separate.

Lot of 2 Polk audio SL 2000 Tweeter. Peerless K010DT (Moving coil high frequency radiator) plus 1 very similar tweeter from B&W. Plus a non working 2nd one. Tested. These are Peerless K010DT (810665) speakers. Used in many different speaker systems. Infinity, etc. There’s a very small blemish on the voice coil of one of the Polks, see image. Doesn’t affect sound. The Bowers and Wilkins tweeters were pulled from S1 satellite speakers. I only ship to US 48 states. I live near Portland Oregon if you wish to pick it up in person and save shipping costs.
