Here is a pair of the original Polk M4 from the 70s with the famous Peerless tweeters with fuse protection. I purchased these here on e-bay and both oem mid-woofers were locked tight from dried glue and the magnets had shifted which unfortunately is common at 40+ yrs on now. I found a very close match in new 6 1/2 woofers installed now. The replacements mid-woofers are 90 Db spl efficient 50 watt RMS and 100 watt peak power handling with freq-respose down to 50 hertz with a 4 ohm impedance. These are 4 ohm nominal speakers and sound great with added internal damping installed. These are just too nice to part out imo..UPDATE after some reflection as i have the Polk M7 as well these M4s did come with a 4 ohm oem midwoofer so these are still an 8 ohm speaker pair.

A lot of people comment how good these tweeters sound for the price, well I have to agree and they integrate well with the woofer in a 2 way speaker. Reconfigured my 2-way with some expensive SEAS drivers, so going to sell these. These are being sold as a pair.
