Es fällt recht schnell auf, dass er so fein mit der Musik umgeht, dass er sehr analog klingt. Nie aufdringlich, trotzdem sehr sorgfältig mit jedem Detail. Ansonsten schön räumlich und einfach angenehm. Stundenlanges hören macht den Zuhörer niemals müde. Einfach nur schade, dass diese Tradition im Stereo-Bereich nicht fortgeführt wird. Dieses Hörvergnügen muss woanders auch noch im Jahre 2008 teurer bezahlt werden. Es wurde von UltraAnalog für Parasound entwickelt, nachdem derselbe Decodierungschip von UltraAnalog (der D20400A) in den Mark Levinson 30 und 35, dem Spectral SDR 2000 und verschiedenen anderen Flaggschiff-R2R-DACs verwendet wurde.
