The disc status is displayed by the LCD panel that lets you know track number, elapsed time etc. There is also the facility to programme the tracks to replay in the order that you prefer or randomly. An open button is fited to the lower right side of the casing and by pressing this the players spring loaded lid is opened. There's a rotary thumb wheel volume control fitted that is linked to a standard 3.5 mm stereo mini jack, between these are the XBS system button which turns the bass boost system on or off. Next to this is the units switch that turns the 10 seconds anti shock on or off, by setting the system to off, less power is used and this is useful for extending the Battery life when the player is to be used in a stationary position.
