Vintage 1996 Panasonic SL-SW404 CD Portable Shockwave Almost CIB No Case In Fantastic Working Condition. Come with AC adapter, instructions, box, original plastic and foam covers for player and headphones. The headphone ear muffs are clearly crumbling as shown in pictures.

Panasonic SL-N5 Vintage Turntable. Spares and repairs but please read. The player is being sold for spares and repairs which means I cant guarantee the working condition at all and it may not be returned if it doesnt work at all. It is in pretty good outward cosmetic condition, nothing to mention really – just the usual light scratches to the lid, some marks to the outer rim of the turntable but nothing particularly worth remarking on. The hinges are present, and nothing appears missing – except the belt, which had perished on the inner ring of the turntable, perhaps due to storage or other reasons. I cleaned up the rim and tried the player with a spare belt of the incorrect type. The audio quality was very good, and I noticed that there is a switch (pictured) for phono or line-out – in the phono position audio was heard when a lead was connected to the phono input of the test amp. When switched to line-out it played through the aux., so this compact 1980s turntable is versatile in that it can also be used with modern amplifiers that dont have a phono input. Speed was a little slow and wowy but this couldve been due to the wrong tension of the incorrect belt. I also noticed that the automatic start did not detect 45 rpm singles, i.e. It wanted to start at where the beginning of an album would be. On albums it started (and stopped) fine. There was no excessive noise. But to be fair, I repeat – these were only my findings at the time of testing. I am selling as Spares and Repairs with no working guarantee offered or implied – the test belt, leads etc. will not be provided. I will however supply a standard figure-of-eight mains lead but for packing and other reasons this will not come with a 13 amp plug so you will need to locate and affix one.
