I have no reason to believe that this VCR isnt working but I have not hooked it up to anything, so it has been power tested only and I cannot therefore guarantee any working condition at all. However, when I put batteries (not included) in the remote/editor it was able to switch the machine on and off and the display altered. When on, the machine made a healthy and barely audible whiring noise; this process is shown on the short accompanying video with this listing. The battery cover to the remote editor is missing (see image). The leads supplied are the ones in the picture. I tested it with my own mains lead (uses a standard figure-of-eight) which is not included. However, I will include a flat-packed figure of eight with no mains connector as I prefer to pack this way and many of my buyers are international anyway.
