Im downsizing a bit and am selling my DP-UB9000 4K UHD player. This is Panasonics flagship 4K UHD disc player and its built like a tank. Im the original owner and this unit is in minty condition except for one TINY little nick on the top of the case. Please see the attached photo. It functions 100% perfectly and includes the backlit remote with batteries, power cord, users manual, and all the original packaging. Just updated to the latest firmware on 6/2/24. This THX-Certified player is the last of its kind and has justifiably earned its reputation for high fidelity playback of 4K UHD/Blu-ray/DVD discs as well as CDs. Here is the issue with unit:when powered on it stays on please wait for quite sometime.after a few minutes it displays error code F99.if you press power button after that it will get it welcome screen and wont go any further. no video output, nothing its stuck. if you press eject the disc drive ejects on the unit.there is some motherboard issue with this player.sold as- is for parts. item has a chip on back and some scratch marks, cosmetic condition is good. It last worked and disc drive worked but the motherboard on this player just stopped working. so disc drive and power supply likely good. but since its for parts please assume they are not.serial number on player has been removed. again, for parts or not working. this player does not work properly. player only and box for player. free UPS ground shipping.

I have owned this player since new. Used on occasion for movies. Recently, the player stopped responding to front panel buttons and remote. It will eject the tray from the power off status. Powers up with the “Hello” screen, switches to “Home” once booted up, but will not respond at all after that. I have no idea what the issue is, could be something small. But, I am not skilled in electronics diagnosis, nor do I have the time to troubleshoot. I am selling completely as-is, return requests will not be granted. Does not include the original box or remote. Please ask any questions prior to purchase.
