Projector Image Quality, Image Brightness, Thoroughness of Inspections, Proper Product Representation There are many factors that may affect image quality, brightness and overall value of a projector, most of which goes unnoticed by the untrained eye 1. Dust Optic Burns – Image Quality Optic burns may discolor the image or create discolored spots. These spots can be caused by the long hours of use, inappropriate temperature or dust. Dust accumulation is present in most used projectors. It tends to create darker projection image and can leave spots on the projection by getting attached to the optic inside. It may be nearly impossible to remove the dust from the optic without completely disassembling the projector first. Awesome projector that offers Full HD 1080p with an easy 16:9 & 2:35:1 cinemascope mode, where it will automatically zooms in and out to provide each respective aspect ratio. This works best when used with a 2:35:1 screen and the projector lens is lined up close to the top of the screen, such as from a ceiling. It then uses lens memory and switches between each automatically (can also be turned off). Im the original owner and original lamp with 2051 hours on eco mode (up to 5000 hours when in eco mode), replacement lamps are fairly inexpensive for this model. Has a serial port and can be controlled by home automation. I used Control4 as they had a driver I was able to use to control it. Really makes watching wide screen movies awesome when paired with that same screen as it will fill up the entire screen. Also works with 3D glasses, may work best with the Optoma 3D glasses w/adapter. Selling those and the adapter in a separate listing. This is an original OEM Panasonic Home Theater System 25 Pin Cord Cable Subwoofer E148000. It is compatible with Panasonic Home models and comes in black color. This listing is for an original owner projector that was installed and never moved. Used in a dedicated audio theater room was lightly used for occasional presentations for demonstrating audio related products. To achieve the lowest fan noise projector was only run in eco mode so low heat and wear to projector has resulted. The picture was so bright it still put out a satisfactory picture on a standard 12 foot wide theater screen in the low mode. See picture taken of image on the screen using the original bulb shortly before replacement bulb was installed. The projector will be shipped in the original box with the included replacement bulb installed. The original bulb is also included and probably has about half its life remaining. As far as can be determined all functions were working properly when the projector was replaced but due to age must be sold as is.
