Die Ortofon OM-Tonabnehmer zur Headshellmontage sind neben den Concordes die Klassiker im Lieferprogramm des dänischen Herstellers. Seit Jahren auf dem Markt ist es der wahrscheinlich meistverkaufte Hifi- und DJ-Abtaster überhaupt. Das angebotene OM ist mit einer Ortofon Gold-Nadel mit elliptischem Schliff bestückt, mit nomineller Auflagekraft von 3,0 Gramm ideal zum Mixen geeignet. Montiert ist das System auf einem Nachbau des Ortofon LH-9000 Headshells chinesischer Herkunft. Sehr schweres und solides Teil, besonders für Tonabnehmer mit geringer Nadelnachgiebigkeit geeignet. Wie beim Ortofon lässt sich der Azimut nach Lösen einer Klemmschraube verstellen und der Griff lässt sich bei Bedarf abschrauben. Auch das Gewicht ist identisch - rund 17 Gramm. Getippter Diamant mit elliptischem Schliff (Special Elliptical, r/R 13/25 ?m) auf Aluminium-Nadelträger, Auflagekraft 2,0 - 5,0 p - optimal 3,0 p, Gewicht 5 g mit Zusatz-Einlagegewicht, 2,5 g ohne.VTA 20°. Ausgangsspannung 6 mV (1kHz/ 5cm/s), Übertragungsbereich 20 bis 20.000 Hz, Übersprechdämpfung min. 23 dB. Das Zusatzgewicht ist nicht verbaut und liegt bei. Vorsicht: Gesamtgewicht mit Schrauben und Kabeln rund 21 Gramm - das kann nicht jeder Tonarm ausbalancieren.
