Es gibt keinen traditionellen Tonarmlift, stattdessen gibt es die Cueing Taste, die einwandfrei funktioniert - aber ich vermisse doch einen normalen Tonarmlift. Der Motor wurde gereinigt und mit dem Technics Motoröl versehen. Der Plattenspieler wurde von innen gereinigt und neu geschmiert. Die Pitch-Option steht alternativ zur Verfügung. Der Artikel befindet sich im gebrauchten Zustand. Das Gehäuse weist Wischspuren/Verschmutzungen und leichte Kratzer auf. Ein Kabelbruch ist nicht vorhanden. Die Originalhaube wurde durch eine neue Acrylhaube ersetzt, so dass nur noch feinere Kratzer und Wischspuren bzw. Fingerabdrücke zu sehen sind. Die Haube fällt im geöffneten Zustand nicht herunter, die Halterungen (Lippen) wurden durch stabilere Ersatzteile ersetzt. Der Tonabnehmer ist ein Ortofon 2M Red, der auf einer Technics Headshell installiert ist. Beide stammen von einem 1500C Plattenspieler, der bekanntlich mit einer solchen Kombination ausgeliefert wird. Die Schrauben wurden ab Werk sehr fest angezogen. Ich habe den Tonabnehmer testweise ausprobiert (max 2-3h insgesamt). Eine Abholung wird bevorzugt, Artikel wird allerdings auch versendet. Dafür werde ich den Tonabnehmer, den Plattenteller und das Gegengewicht abmontieren und im Paket separat verpacken. Ich werde mein Bestes tun, den Plattenspieler sachgerecht und sicher zu verpacken, aber es bleibt trotzdem ein Transportrisiko vorhanden, das Käufer:in trägt. With an Ortofon OM5E moving magnet cartridge.Semi automatic - the platter starts to turn when the arm is moved towards the record and the arm lifts when the record reaches the end grooves.Made in Britain. Great sounding deck which gives more modern (and more expensive) decks a run for their money!This turntable was only used for about two years and then put into storage. So very little use.The Ortofon cartridge did not get much use either - and still plays / sounds fantastic. The 5E can easily be upgraded to an OM10 or OM20 by simply swapping the stylus (the cartridge body is common across all three - making the swap very quick and easy).The arm bearings feel very solid, which is good. The deck plays at 33 or 45 rpm using the round button on the plinth. All in good working order.The belt is still the original - you may wish to treat yourself to a new one (£6 or £7 on eBay) or try a Dual 601 belt which is said to be a good choice.The power lead has a simple 2-pin plug. I could change this to a better MK Toughplug if you wish - for an extra £8. Just say.In good condition. Some small marks on the lid, but nothing to worry about. See the photos. My photo of the stylus was not easy to take - this is the best I could get.Boxed (not the original box - but carefully boxed all the same!). TECHNICS SL 150/SME 3009 Series 111s arm/ORTOFON 540 cartridge /QED QUNEX 1 cable. I purchased the turntable new many years ago and have updated it with an SME arm, Ortofon 540 cartridge and a QED Quinex 1 phono cable. The Ortofon 540 Mk 2, new can be purchased online for over £500 alone. There are a couple of problems: The SME tonearm has a small indent next to the arm rest with the little plastic retainer missing . Also, the bottom of the case has a couple of screws which cannot be secured tightly as the were cracked when I overtightened them when changing the QED cable. The casing however is still sturdy however with the other screws intact. The SME instruction manual is included. I cannot find the original box. I would prefer collection for obvious reasons and the buyer can test it out, but will package it well if not able to do so.
