Does show age and wear. Powers on tubes light up but turn table does not turn, could just need new belt but I will leave that up to you. Comes as is and sadly missing its legs. Parts or repair so please see all pics before purchasing. Thanks so much.

Vintage RCA Victor Microphone from Orthophonic reel to reel untested complete.

Too many projects, not enough time! Send me an offer!! Up for sale is an RCA SHF-7 RS-164 Orthophonic 6V6 Tube Amplifier Chassis that could be repaired as a standalone hifi, part of a stereo, or modified as a guitar amplifier. Sold as is and assumed not working! However, I checked the power and output transformers with a meter, and theyre good. Someone started to replace the capacitors but never finished. I highly recommend replacing the remaining capacitors, including the electrolytics, before putting back into use. This amplifier uses a 5Y3, 2 6V6s, a 6CG7/6FQ7, and a 6AV6. No tubes included. International buyers are welcomed, but are responsible for postage and customs duties!

This is a used RCA Orthophonic High Fidelity Reel to Reel tape deck model 7-TR-3. This model came out around 1957. This particular unit was well taken care of. It had some issues when I first acquired it, but I cleaned it, changed the main belt, and got it working properly again. You can check out the link to see the unit functioning. It still seems to have the original RCA tube amplifiers, and I have a feeling that changing the tubes would improve the sound quality further, but thats up to you. I figured it would be better to have the originals intact. All of the playback buttons work. The only thing I havent done is record anything but I cant see why that function wouldnt be working as well. I have also tested the speaker/aux output as well (with headphones), but not the microphone function.You can see that cosmetically it has fared pretty well. There are signs of wear as you can see in the photos. On the platter area there is what seems to be some tape residue that you can easily clean off. I also lightly burned the casing near the Voice - Music switch when I was working on it, but its pretty minor and doesnt affect anything. You can also see that the handle is a bit frayed however the unit as a whole looks far better than other ones Ive seen online. This plays Quarter inch tapes and has a half-track head, so it is best used for half track stereo, or single track mono recordings. If you play quarter track tapes youll hear the correct recording as well as the other tracks playing in reverse. Includes Take-up reel, reel place-holders, and some original paperwork (pictured).This does not include the microphone originally included with the unit.This is a really cool unit, and could use a nice home.
