Optonica RP-3636 Direct Drive Turntable Marble Stone Base Missing Counterweight Turntable is in decent condition for its age. It is MISSING THE REAR COUNTERWEIGHT. I was going to have a friend machine one but we never got around to it. The platter turns fine and seems to hold steady to the strobe, at least for the 10 minutes I was running it. Dust cover has some marks and weird bubble like defects. Wood base has a chip on the rear corner but otherwise looks pretty good. Has a Shure M92E cartridge with a new stylus. Cant remember if I installed it or it is the one on the plastic case. Will include a new anti-skate weight. Needs a good cleaning and a counterweight and you will have a nice turntable. Most items ship out next day. This may take another day or 2 to ship out. I will box it up very safely. It is heavy (which is what you want in a good turntable) but shipping will not be cheap. Tested and in good working condition. A couple of the pots and switches may need a little deoxit but it plays and sounds great. Very clean unit with some light scuffs and scratches from age and use. It has 3 transformers and built like a tank! In looking at other pictures of the boards online, this looks like it may have been recapped at one time (see pics). Nice looking amplifier! NON-smoking home. Please take a close look at all the pictures and video for more details on the condition. This will be very well packed and fully insured.
