Optonica RP-3838 Computer Cassette Deck. Time for a cassette deck cull. I’ve been collecting HiFi for as many years as I can remember and this one just isn’t getting the use it should so needs to go to someone who is going to make use of this fine cassette deck. These are a pretty rare machine and for those that don’t know Optonica was Sharp’s name for their better HiFi kit much like Technics is National Panasonic’s. The common version of this deck is the Sharp RT-3151. This one is in exceptionally nice condition for being 45 years old with hardly a visible blemish and has had the benefit of having all its drive tyres, belts and centre gear replaced so that it is in perfect working order, which is not normally the case for these wonderful cassette decks.Both versions of this deck are usually pretty much knackered and require a fair bit of work with hard to obtain part but this one has had all those parts that usually failed replaced. Please see the attached photos as these form part of the description. I often start my auctions at £1 and never set a reserve, my philosophy being that an items current value has no bearing on the price I paid for it when purchased, I have had the enjoyment of using and or tinkering with it and therefore feel whatever the items end bid price at the end of the auction is it’s fair market value. So if that is less than I paid for it then so be it. I will always try to answer any other questions so please feel free to ask away but please ask all your questions before the end of the auction and satisfy yourself that what you have bid is what you are happy to pay for the item and as this is an auction caveat emptor does apply. I do much prefer collection by the buyer so they can then satisfy themselves with the item but of course if shipping will pack accordingly. For fragile items such as turntables collection is my ideal way of the buyer getting hold of their new purchase, this cuts out the risk of the item however well packed getting kicked around the back of a container lorry by a less than careful courier and arriving in a rather dishevelled condition. On that note I can not always find suitable packaging at auction end so it can take a day or two for me to get an item packed and shipped as I am an enthusiast/magpie/collector and not a dealer so the items I sell are things that I have either upgraded from, bought as a project and probably not finished or things I just could not resist or leave alone but never really used and are therefore second hand and used. All my items are in Kent, England and I am happy to ship to anywhere in the world at the buyers cost via the ebay global shipping programme. Sharp Optonica RT-3535 Stereo Kassetten/Tape Deck. Hallo, ich verkaufe hier ein Sharp Optonica Kassetten Deck. Das Tape-Deck habe ich vor Jahren erworben und steht’s pfleglich behandelt. Das Gerät ist über 40 Jahre alt und war zur damaliger Zeit oberste Spitzenklasse, Kenner wissen hier „Bescheid“ Die Front welche aus 3mm starkem Aluminium besteht würde ich mit als sehr gut einschätzen da sie tadellos ist und keinerlei Kratzer aufweist! Der Zustand der Schrift ist exzellent. Das Gehäuse, soweit ich es festgestellt habe, hat keinerlei Kratzer, das Stromkabel ist nicht vergilbt. Es werden „geringe“ Gebrauchs Spuren zu finden sein. Siehe Bilder?? Leider kann ich das Tape-Deck nicht vollständig testen, da ich leider kein Medium mehr habe, für eine Aufnahme! Dennoch konnte ich eine Kassette abspielen und über den Kopfhörer-Ausgang hören. Den Klang würde ich als gut einschätzen. Vor-und zurück Spulen war ebenfalls möglich, der Bandzähler funktioniert, wobei ich sagen muss das hier eventuell die Riemen gemacht werden sollten. Vielleicht lag es auch an der Kassette die ich benutzt habe, ist auch nicht mehr die beste, das kann ich nicht einschätzen?! Die Anzeigen für den rechten und linken Kanal funktionieren. In wie weit die Filter (Dolby, EQ, Bias) funktionieren weiß ich nicht ?! Da das Tape-Deck längere Zeit nicht in Gebrauch war, sollte es in eine Werkstatt überprüfen werden um eventuelle Mängel zu beheben. Den Zustand würde ich auf jeden Fall als Reperatur-Würdig“ einschätzen. Maße: Breite an der Front ca. 47cm , Tiefe ca. 37cm , Höhe ca.15cm Eine Bedienungsanleitung ist vorhanden deutsch/englisch— plus Schaltplan!! Besichtigung nach Absprache vor Ort möglich.
