For sale is a used 4K Optoma projector, in excellent condition. Following is the full history of this item.       I am the only owner of the unit, having purchased from Best Buy in 2020. I installed with a ceiling mount after which it saw light use. I began to have some problems with the projector finding a video source on HDMI 1 input, then HDMI 2 input. I returned the projector to Optoma service for diagnostics and an out of warranty repair. They replaced a PCBA Scaler BD for $286 and returned to me. In the meantime, I bought a new, Optoma 4K ultra short throw laser projector, and reconfigured my entire media room setup. The repaired unit has since been sitting in the factory packaging for some time, while I pondered what to do with it. I have subsequently decided to sell it. I have been testing the projector in my media room for a couple of days, and I have verified perfect functionality displaying 4K videos through HDMI inputs 1 and 2. I uploaded a short video shot from my iPhone, but I am not sure eBay will approve my showing this. Other observations regarding this projector: fan noise is very minimal, and I found to be quite acceptable with the projector installed overhead and slightly behind my main viewing position, in a room with 9 foot ceilings. If you are going to connect to video sources with cable runs longer than about 15 feet, you will probably want an active, fiber optic HDMI cable. I tested yesterday, and today with a passive, non-directional, 20 foot HDMI cable, and a 50 foot, active fiber optic HDMI cable, both of which displayed perfect 4K video.     I have everything the projector originally shipped with, except for the printed owner's manual (frustrating as I am very OCD about keeping up with these!). Very clean. It includes projector, power cord and remote. The remote does work but DOESNT INCLUDE BATTERIES. Projector turns on and projects the menu, so the lightbulb works. I don’t know how many hours has left. The problem with the projector is that it can’t find source. I only tested both HDMI and none of them are showing image. It is missing the air filter (pictured).

Some wear on the top, but otherwise in good working condition. Lamp was replaced relatively recently and only has 600hrs on it (lamp life is 5000 hours on full mode/15000 on eco mode).
