Whoever is looking for this player will probably be aware of its capabilities: image and sound of the highest standard thanks to top-notch quality components, including excellent upscaling of non-HD content thanks to the acclaimed Marvell Qdeo processor. The absolute difference-maker is of course the DARBEE processor included, taking every bit of detail (and even more) from any picture! You have to see it to believe it. What made this player the best choice for me personally, is that it even accepts exotic media like DVD-AUDIO, SACD (including homemade SACD-R) and HDCD with its own decoder. Bluray and Bluray 3D, of course, work like a charm! This player offers a very special treat: I have purchased a CODEFREE modification which allows it to play DVDs from all codes, i. e. from all over the world!
