Unit powers up. Display works great. All selector switches work great. HDMI input was tested with dvd player. Hdmi output to tv works, with very good video. Im not able to test this any further, as I do not have the required cables for the speaker outputs. They are XLR connectors, and I dont own any XLR cables. Here is a mighty Onkyo PR-SC5509 AV controller pre amplifier. It comes with its remote, set-up microphone and user manual. Please be aware that this is just a controller, and you will need a separate power amplifier for your speakers etc. Condition report: This unit is in generally very good condition, but it does have a few very small nicks here and there, which we have tried to highlight in the pictures. Its in good condition, but perhaps not excellent. In use: We have powered this controller with a power amplifier and its working well, with no issues. Summary: A large and impressive looking controller for a serious AV surround system. The small print...The photographs show the actual item being sold. I use a studio to show the items in as much detail as possible. I must stress, that I have not serviced this item, just described its current cosmetic and operational condition as honestly as I can. PACKAGINGI only use brand new double wall boxes and all internal packaging is via ethafoam... this is the perfect foam to keep items well located and far superior to bubble wrap.
